Orlando “Tubby” Smith, who coached the University of men’s basketball program to the 1998 national championship and several Southeastern Conference titles, had a jersey retired in his honor Friday before the game against Smith’s current squad, High Point University.

Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
