Obituary – John Alexander McIntosh Jr., 70, Lexington Herald-Leader (October 23, 1984)

John Alexander McIntosh Jr., 70, of 285 Hedgewood Court, former company pilot and engineer for Irvin Industries, husband of Madie McIntosh, died Sunday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center off Cooper Drive after a long illness. McIntosh played basketball under the late University of Kentucky coach Adolph Rupp during the 1930s.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Greendale Cemetery, Osgood, Ind. There will be no visitation. Nead-Clark Funeral Home in Osgood is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
