Kentucky basketball players, Calipari raise $1 million for Haiti

Kentucky basketball players and coach John Calipari raised $1 million with a telethon on a Lexington TV station. The four-hour “Hoops for Haiti” Telethon on WKYT-TV Sunday received pledges of about $500,000. The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that total will be matched by a group that includes Calipari.
