When Daniel Orton signed with Kentucky in the fall of 2008, then-UK basketball coach Billy Gillespie told the former Bishop McGuinness forward he would be “the man” in Lexington. Things changed drastically in the next year. In a span of months, Orton went from being “the man” to a non-starter.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
