From the Hartford Courant:  “On May 6, UConn  coach Jim Calhoun signed a five-year, $13 million contract. On May 7, that contract was made available to the public.  Which got us thinking: Let’s take a look at some others. All contracts for coaches at state institutions are a matter of public record. Private schools, such as Duke and Notre Dame, do not have to divulge much, if any, information.  So through informal inquiries, official Freedom Of Information Act requests and general perusing of the Internet, we received 15 contracts.”
