Doron Lamb, Brandon Knight named SEC’s best of the week
The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team on Monday claimed the top weekly honors from the Southeastern Conference. Freshman guard Doron Lamb was named SEC Player of the Week and point guard Brandon Knight was the league’s Freshman of the Week. Lamb set a UK freshman record with 32 points in the Cats’ only game last week, a win against Winthrop. Knight had 21 points and five rebounds in the same game.
