Jerry Tipton just could not wait to turn a positive (a HUGE win over Florida in Rupp) into a negative today when he questioned on his blog the validity of John Calipari's 500th win. I know Tipton is just doing his job as a reporter but can he at least give us a day to enjoy the victory before stirring up more controversy? From Tipton: “Before Kentucky left the court after beating Florida 76-68 on Saturday, UK recognized the game as John Calipari's 500th coaching victory. Or was it? As part of the penalties against Calipari's Memphis team of 2007-08, the NCAA ordered the team's 38 victories from that season to be stricken from the record.”
