You’re not going to believe this, but a Kentucky men’s basketball player has received preseason recognition. With less than two weeks before Big Blue Madness,Terrence Jones was recognized by the Los Angeles Athletic Club as one of 50 top pre-season candidates for the John R. Wooden Award. The Wooden Award annually recognizes the best player in college basketball and is generally thought of as the most prestigious of any such awards.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
