If you spend time around the University of Kentucky basketball program, it likely won’t be long until you hear one word: family. The players and coaches tag their tweets with the #lafamilia or #WeAreUK, they talk in terms of brothers rather than teammates and they are quick to credit the family atmosphere for their success since head coach John Calipari took the reigns of college basketball’s all-time winningest program.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
