A great number of Wildcats from the championship teams in the 1990s would go on to play in the NBA. Greats like Walter McCarty, Tony Delk, Jeff Sheppard and Derek Anderson are just a few on the seemingly endless list of former Cats to suit up as pros. One vital piece to those championship puzzles, however, chose a different path. After winning two national titles (1996 and 1998) at Kentucky, Cameron Mills has been involved in ministry ever since.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
