The Jazz have signed their 2011 draft picks, center Enes Kanter and guard Alec Burks. They chose the 6-foot-11 Kanter third overall out of Kentucky, though he never actually played for the Wildcats because he was ineligibile for the 2010-11 season. The 19-year-old played with the Turkish U18 National Team and was named the MVP of the 2009 world championship tournament.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
