Kentucky dropped out of the AP Top 25 the week of December 3 after consecutive losses to Notre Dame and Baylor. That week it received a total of 186 points. This week it remained out of the AP Top 25 and received even fewer votes than it did last week, despite two home wins against Samford and Portland. This weeks vote total was only 44 points. Now I realize that wins over Samford and Portland are nothing to brag about but a 142 point drop is pretty substantial. I know…rankings don’t mean anything. Wait ’til March. See AP poll here.
