As expected, the Chicago Bulls will bring back Nazr Mohammed. The veteran center verbally agreed Tuesday to a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal that he can sign July 10. This will be the Chicago native’s 16th season.
“I feel great,” Mohammed said by phone. “I’m looking forward to us staying healthy and competing for a title.”
Mohammed said the opportunity to stay in his hometown, finally play with Derrick Rose and work for a winning team made it “an easy decision.
