A quarter of the United States national team that will represent America at the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain is made up of former John Calipari players.
Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins and Derrick Rose all made the final 12-man roster for Team USA. The final cuts were made late Friday night after the United States’ exhibition victory over Puerto Rico.
Davis, Cousins, Rose and the rest of Team USA will begin its FIBA World Cup play on Aug. 30 against Finland. Prior to that, the U.S. has one more exhibition game, scheduled for Tuesday against Slovenia at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
