Fast start launches Kentucky past Auburn 110-75

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 19 points to lead six players in double figures, and the top-ranked Wildcats broke the century mark in a Southeastern Conference game for the first time in five years with a 110-75 blowout of on Saturday night that extended its best start ever.

The Wildcats (27-0, 14-0 ) surpassed 100 points each in preseason wins over lower-level Pikeville and Georgetown College but hadn't broken triple digits in a league game since beating Arkansas 101-70 on Jan. 23, 2010.

's two free throws with 3:18 left ensured the achievement in a game that was never in doubt as the Wildcats scored the first nine points and never let up. He finished with 18 points.

added 13 points, 12, 11 and 10 as Kentucky shot 65 percent from the field. Towns also grabbed 10 rebounds.
