Kentucky freshman Skal Labissiere has been ruled eligible to play this season by the NCAA, reports Yahoo Sports’s Shams Charania.
Labissiere, a five-star prospect rated No. 1 overall in his class by Rivals, is currently projected by many as the No. 1 pick in next year’s NBA Draft.
The NCAA had been reportedly been investigating Labissiere‘s relationship with guardian GeraldHamilton, who created a high school program, Reach Your Dream Prep, affiliated with his nonprofit organization. Labissiere played his senior year for Hamilton’s program after playing at twoMemphis area high schools earlier in his career.
