Top-40 basketball recruit Bryce Hopkins will be playing college basketball in the Bluegrass State after all.
Hopkins, a four-star forward, committed to Kentucky‘s 2021 class Monday. Hopkins had previously committed to Louisville before citing the ongoing uncertainty about possible NCAA sanctions coming for the Cardinals as his reason for reopening his recruitment in August.
The 247Sports Composite ranks Hopkins as the No. 30 prospect and No. 7 power forward in the 2020 class. The 6-foot-7 Oak Park, Illinois, native was also considering California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan, Oregon, Providence and Texas after decommitting from Louisville.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
