Big Z is free! Kentucky basketball freshman Zvonimir Ivisic has announced he’s been declared eligible and will be available to play for the Wildcats, effective immediately.
Ivisic is a 7-foot forward from Croatia who initially announced his commitment to Kentucky but has been awaiting approval by the NCAA in order to officially suit up for the Cats. Ivišić first announced his commitment to Kentucky on August 1st, 2023, and a UK Spokesperson confirmed he had been admitted to the university on October 4th, 108 days ago. Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart thanked the NCAA and everyone at UK Athletics who worked through the process of securing Ivisic’s eligibility.
