Florida aims to spoil Kentucky’s 32-game home winning streak today

Shortly after No. 13 Florida beat Georgia on Thursday to clinch a share of the SEC East division title, coach Billy Donovan warned his team about Kentucky’s 32-game home winning streak. “We’ve broken a lot of streaks this year,” Florida senior forward Alex Tyus said with a smile. “So we’d like to break some more.” Florida is coming into its matchup today at No. 22 Kentucky confident, even though the Wildcats have been dominant at home in John Calipari’s two seasons as coach. Under Calipari, Kentucky hasn’t lost at Rupp Arena.

Kentucky cruises 90-59 over South Carolina

Darius Miller scored a career-high 22 points and No. 22 Kentucky had little trouble in a 90-59 win over South Carolina on Saturday. Terrence Jones added 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Wildcats (19-7, 7-5 SEC), who remain unbeaten at Rupp Arena under John Calipari. Kentucky scored the game’s first 14 points and led by as much as 36 to push its home winning streak to 32, the second-longest in school history.

Wildcats hold player only meeting following loss to Vanderbilt

From what I understand Josh Harrellson called a team meeting after Saturday’s loss to Vanderbilt. He sent text messages to everyone telling them to meet at Wildcat Lodge. Kentucky 2012 target Archie Goodwin receives offer from Kentucky

After a 32-point performance tonight with John Calipari in attendance, junior Archie Goodwin (Sylvania Hills, Ark.) received a scholarship offer from Kentucky. Goodwin has been reported to love the ‘Cats and this should be one of his personal favorite offers. “I got the offer from Kentucky,” he told me via text. Kentucky is one of the top teams for Goodwin, along with Memphis, Missouri, and home-state Arkansas.

Calipari apologizes for use of profanity towards Terrence Jones on national TV
