John Wall lives up to expectations as Cats roll

When freshman John Wall went to the bench with 4:21 left, the Rupp Arena crowd rose and applauded in appreciation. There were plenty of reasons why. In his delayed debut for Kentucky, Wall scored a game-high 27 points, handed out nine assists and generally showed why he’s considered one of college basketball’s top talents despite not yet playing a regular-season game.
