Cousins’ behavior is not a good representation of Kentucky basketball

Twice in high profile games, DeMarcus Cousins has thrown an elbow at an opposing player. And twice, he was given a reprieve by the officials, and not tossed out of the game. Against Louisville and in Saturday’s Vanderbilt game, the big man has let his temper get the better of him and clocked someone with an elbow.  Maybe it’s time he did get thrown out of a game. It might teach him a lesson.  Right now, despite all his talent, he’s coming across as a thug. Part of that might be the freshman in him. Part of that might be his personality.
