For the fifth time this season, the Southeastern Conference named Kentucky guard John Wall its Freshman of the Week. Only one player, James Robinson of Alabama, has won that award more. He won it six times. Wall averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds and 2.5 assists in wins over Alabama and No. 12 Tennessee last week. THe SEC named Jeffery Taylor of Vanderbilt as its Player of the Week.
