
Life for Alex Poythress hasn’t exactly been “normal” since he stepped inside Northeast High School as a freshman three years ago. While most students worry about what college they’ll attend, Poythress won’t have that problem. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound senior has attracted the attention of some of the larger Division I basketball programs across the country. And now one of the elite programs in the history of the college game has thrown its cards on the table.
