Vanderbilt center Festus Ezeli has sprained the medial collateral ligament and the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, Vanderbilt announced Friday afternoon. The injury coincidentally comes at the best time possible, as Ezeli is ineligible to play in the team's first six games of the season, due to accepting hotel-room and food benefits over the summer. No surgery is required for either tendon injury.
