At 6 a.m. Friday, Eddie Sutton got word that Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach Kurt Budke and assistant Miranda Serna had died in an airplane crash, and the familiar grief returned. “It brings back a flood of bad memories,” Sutton said. Memories of that snowy night nearly 11 years ago when a small plane carrying 10 members of the Cowboys’ men’s basketball program, including two players, crashed into a Colorado field. There were no survivors.
