Kentucky’s DeMarcus Cousins was named SEC Freshman of the Week after he averaged 16.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in leading the Wildcats to wins over Drexel and Long Beach State. Cousins had 33 points and 23 rebounds in only 27 minutes on the week.
