Brandon Knight named to first team.  Josh Harrellson was named to the second team: “The season now quickly fading from our site, we wanted to extend our coverage out as long as possible. On This Day in UK Basketball History

On February 14, 1938, Joe Hagan’s 48-foot shot with 12 seconds left lifts the Wildcats over Marquette, 35-33. Then-Kentucky governor A.B. “Happy” Chandler sprinted onto the playing court at the final buzzer and drove a nail into the floor to mark the spot from which “Hagan’s heave” was launched.
