beats the overmatched Armoraiders of Fort Knox 64-30 in Alumni Gym on January 4, 1943.  This marks the first win of what would become a record home court winning streak of 129 games. The overflowing crowd of 1,500 cheered on senior Milt Ticco, who scored 17 for the Cats.  The streak went on for twelve years, and was stretched between Alumni Gymnasium and Memorial Coliseum, when it ended January 8, 1955 as Georgia Tech defeated , 59-58, in Memorial Coliseum. This 129-game home winning streak still stands as a national record.  From The Season Never Ends Calendar.

On March 16, 2003, after running the table in regular-season Southeastern Conference play, Kentucky defeats Mississippi State, 64-57, in the finals of the SEC Tournament to secure its 24th league tourney crown and complete a 19-0 season sweep of conference opponents. It marked the first time the feat had been accomplished in 51 seasons.
