Kentucky Topped by Vanderbilt in SEC Tournament

The Kentucky Wildcats and John Calipari lose to the Vanderbilt Commodores in the SEC men’s basketball Tournament quarterfinals in Nashville.

Kentucky senior guard Antonio Reeves was named the Southeastern Conference Co-Sixth Man of the Year by the conference’s coaches on Monday.

Playing all 40 minutes, Antonio Reeves had a career-high 37 points. 37 points ties for the third-most by a Wildcat in the Calipari era.

Kentucky’s 86 points against Auburn was a season high in an SEC game. The Wildcats were led by Oscar Tshiebwe with 22 points and 17 rebounds.

At Florida, Chris Livingston had the biggest play of the game with a putback-and-one with 50 seconds left that increased Kentucky’s lead.

The Kentucky Wildcats came out hot and beat the Florida Gators in Gainesville on Wednesday night by a score of 82-74.

Chris Livingston had 12 points and a season-high 10 rebounds against Tennessee, his first double-double as a Wildcat.
