TyTy Washington Signs With ASVEL, Joining Nate Sestina in France
Former Kentucky guard TyTy Washington has signed with LDLC ASVEL and will begin his first season in European basketball and the EuroLeague. The former first-round NBA Draft pick spent four seasons moving between the NBA and G League and most recently appeared for the Los Angeles Clippers. Washington will also reunite with fellow former Wildcat Nate Sestina on the Tony Parker-led French club.
Kentucky Makes Final Seven for Five-Star Point Guard Reese Alston
Five-star 2027 point guard Reese Alston has included Kentucky among his final seven schools, along with Houston, Tennessee, LSU, Vanderbilt, Louisville and Wichita State. The Houston Second Baptist standout previously visited Lexington and has remained one of Kentucky’s priority backcourt targets in the 2027 class.
Anthony Davis Among NBA’s Comeback Players to Watch
Former Kentucky star Anthony Davis is among the prominent veterans NBA.com identified Monday night as players attempting significant comebacks during the 2026-27 season. Davis appeared in only 20 games last season before Dallas traded him to Washington, where he was shut down without appearing in a game because of a ligament injury in his left hand.
Kerr Kriisa’s Federal Wire-Fraud Trial Scheduled to Begin Today
Former Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa is scheduled for jury selection and the start of his federal trial today in West Virginia after pleading not guilty to five counts of wire fraud. Federal prosecutors allege that Kriisa participated in a scheme that obtained nearly $2.2 million from victims; the allegations remain unproven, and Kriisa has denied the charges through his not-guilty plea.
Kriisa played nine games for Kentucky during the 2024-25 season before a foot injury ended his year.

Richie Farmer Turns 57
Richie Farmer, one of Kentucky’s celebrated “Unforgettables,” turns 57 today. Born Aug. 25, 1969, Farmer remained at Kentucky through the program’s difficult transition from Eddie Sutton to Rick Pitino and helped the Wildcats return to national prominence, culminating in the memorable 1992 NCAA Tournament run. His No. 32 jersey hangs in the Rupp Arena rafters alongside fellow Unforgettables Deron Feldhaus, John Pelphrey and Sean Woods.
