Few players in recent Knick memory embodied this idea of myth-over-hype better than Josh Harrellson
If you find yourself mired in the meat-market metrics of talent evaluation, be it in sport, business, entertainment, or whatever, it’s important to remember not to confuse hype and myth. The move Monday opens a roster spot for a Knicks team that is looking to add size.

He can [play in] scrimmages, but he’s not strong enough or able to go sideways or able to have an NBA physical talent level. It’s just not there yet.”
